This 1-1/2 hour workshop will address the effects of generational poverty on the children who we serve at FLI.  We will discuss the culture that accompanies generational poverty and how to best help our students understand the hidden rules and differences that occur between the students and the education system.  Coaches will be asked to create a bridge between the two cultures to help our students get the most out of their education.  All coaches will be required to attend -- workshops will be Sunday, November 6 & 13, 2011, at 2PM.
